Defensive Tackle. Washington. Vita Vea. 16. player. 44. TRADE
Falcons trade No. 26 and No. 58 to Ravens for No. 16

Atlanta moves up here to select a player that shouldn’€™t wait much longer. Vea is a massive man that can move like a man much smaller. He would immediately step in and replace the production of Dontari Poe, who left for Carolina this offseason.

Vea would fit in to a defense that has promising young players. His size will be needed to defend the likes of Mark Ingram, Alvin Kamara, Christian McCaffrey, Cam Newton, Drew Brees and Jameis Winston. (Stephen)

Previous Pick: Baltimore selects Rashaan Evans

Quarterback. Louisville. Lamar Jackson. 17. player. 13.

The Chargers win the Lamar Jackson sweepstakes. Los Angeles has a roster filled with young studs, so they can afford to take a chance on a player like Jackson.

Once Philip Rivers calms down from seeing his team draft a first-round quarterback, he will be a great mentor to Jackson. Rivers has a couple elite years left in the tank so there will be plenty of time for Jackson to learn.

In a couple years, Jackson will be the most dynamic player in the game and he will have Hunter Henry and Keenan Allen to help him along to many playoff wins. (Justin)

Previous Pick: Vita Vea

Cornerback. UCF. Mike Hughes. 18. player. 36.

The Legion of Boom€™ is no more. Richard Sherman is gone, Earl Thomas is nearly out the door and Kam Chancellor has had several injuries over the past several seasons. It is time for the Seahawks to rebuild what was once their calling card.

Hughes is one of the better corners in this class and has good size for the position with good speed as well. I compare his style of play to Sherman’s physical style that can disrupt receivers at the line. He would be a nice addition and could be the first piece of a new-look defense in Seattle. (Stephen)

Previous Pick: Buffalo (traded up) selects Leighton Vander Esch
