. Defensive End. NC State. Bradley Chubb. 4. player. 53

Cleveland is able to get their franchise quarterback with their first pick and they can then take one of the best players overall in the entire class. Chubb would be paired with last year’s first overall pick Myles Garrett to create one of the youngest, most fearsome pass rushing duos in the league.

This pick could also be shipped out if a team gets quarterback-hungry and wants to move up. However, Chubb is too much to pass up. His natural abilities offer so much to a young team and he can be a major piece to a growing defense for years to come. (Stephen)

Previous Pick: Saquon Barkley

5. player. 45. . Guard. Notre Dame. Quenton Nelson

Denver finally secured a quarterback that can manage their offense in Case Keenum. Now they will look to surround him with stellar defensive play and protection. With arguably one of the most talented defenses in the league, Elway should grab the best lineman available.

Nelson is the safest pick in the draft. Although the pick would be met with criticism from the casual fan, those who follow the draft know what Nelson is capable of. It would not shock me if he becomes the best lineman in the NFL before his career is over. (Justin)

Previous Pick: Buffalo (trade up) selects Baker Mayfield

Penn State. Saquon Barkley. 6. player. 46. . Running Back

The Colts can’t go wrong here by taking the best player available. If Andrew Luck is healthy, adding Barkley makes Indy one of the most dangerous offenses in the NFL.

By moving back from No. 3 to No. 6, the Colts are awarded the luxury of being able to build their roster in the second round with two additional picks.

I could see the Bills trading up here if they don’t find their way to No. 2, or the Cardinals, Dolphins, or another team could try to move up here to grab a falling quarterback, Barkley or grab a top defensive talent. (Stephen)
