7. player. 48. . Guard. Notre Dame. Quenton Nelson

If the quarterbacks go early, elite players will fall. Much like Chubb, Nelson should have been picked earlier.

Drafting a player like Nelson at No. 7 would be a steal in every sense of the word. He is the best guard prospect to come out in quite some time and will make sure Winston stays clean while in the pocket. He will also bolster the run game for whoever the Buccaneers decide to draft later. (Justin)

57. . Linebacker. Virginia Tech. Tremaine Edmunds. 8. player

This has been my pick for weeks and I keep it the same. On a team that needs help on the defensive side of the ball, Edmunds can offer that and then some.

He is big, fast, can stuff the run, rush the passer and drop in coverage. Chicago can certainly use some help on the defense after spending major money on the offense. They have young pieces that they need to build around, and Edmunds is another key piece.

Also with quarterbacks like Aaron Rodgers, Matthew Stafford and Kirk Cousins in the NFC North, Chicago needs to slow down some potent offenses. (Stephen)

Florida State. Derwin James. 9. player. 42. . Safety

The 49ers may be one of the best 6-10 teams I’ve ever seen. Their roster is stocked with young talented players and they have their quarterback all locked up.

When you have a franchise quarterback, you must build a strong team around him by drafting the best player, rather than reaching for a need.

The 49ers taking Derwin James would give GM John Lynch his very own John Lynch. James is far more athletic and has better hands, but he does have the hit power that made Lynch great.

He will be a force in the NFC West. (Justin)
