player. 55. . Linebacker. Texas. Malik Jefferson. 28

The Steelers defense relief heavily on Ryan Shazier and were in big trouble once he went down. Shazier has elite speed for a middle linebacker and is one of the best in the NFL, but with his uncertainty after a devastating back injury late in the season, Pittsburgh needs to find his replacement.

Jefferson can help fill that void as he is large but has outstanding sideline-to-sideline speed. He would fit nicely with several young pieces on a defense that can help a potent offense win now.

Previous Pick: Unchanged

. Defensive Tackle. Alabama. Da'Ron Payne. 29. player. 52

Oh. Man.

The Jaguars are an interesting team heading into the draft. They have great depth throughout the roster that is made up of young stars.

Coughlin will continue to build in the trenches and add Payne to an already stacked defensive line. The Jaguars get a great player that has learned from Nick Saban at the end of round one. Big win for the Jags.

Payne will be used to being surrounded by talented teammates and will slide in as a rotational guy. Jacksonville is scary good and this pick makes them even better. (Justin)

Previous Pick: Trade out

60. . Guard/Center. Ohio State. Billy Price. 30. player

I believe that Billy Price would be the top center taken in the draft if he didn’t tear his pectoral muscle at the combine. However, his injury is Minnesota’s gain. The Vikings need help on the interior of the offensive line, especially to help block for franchise quarterback Kirk Cousins.

Price can play both guard and center and play each of them at an extremely high level. He can be a major piece of an offensive unit with one of the better quarterbacks in the NFL, two No. 1 receivers, a young running back, and a top level tight end. (Stephen)
