Buffalo Bills add more talent on defense, retain Kyle Williams
The Buffalo Bills continue to bolster the roster before free agency officially gets underway, bringing back both a new and a familiar face.
The Buffalo Bills have been so active this week it is hard to keep up. And it is only Tuesday afternoon.
The Bills started the morning by agreeing to terms with Star Lotulelei, defensive tackle from Carolina. This article was originally going to be about that move, but Brandon Beane wasn’t done yet.
Kyle Williams is returning to Buffalo, giving the team two studs along the defensive front in 2018.
It was hard to imagine Williams going anywhere else if he did plan to give it another go, so it is great to see him return to Buffalo. The playoff berth must have left him wanting more.
The moves all around the NFL are coming out at a rapid pace, and there are a few more updates to share.
- Sammy Watkins is heading to Kansas City
- Case Keenum is expected to sign in Denver
- Kirk Cousins is expected to land a monster deal in Minnesota
- Allen Robinson is expected to sign in Chicago
Those are the major updates as of right now. One thing to note is that Case Keenum isn’t coming to Buffalo, but Sam Bradford remains a potential option. I hope no one had any hopes up for Kirk coming here.
The Bills will need to move fast to snag a quarterback, so expect something rather soon. Bradford remains an option along with AJ McCarron, Teddy Bridgewater and Josh McCown. The ultimate goal should be to draft a rookie in the first round, but having an experienced quarterback to start right away would be ideal.

Free agency officially begins Wednesday and we already have all these moves to talk about. Things should only get crazier as the day goes on.
