Buffalo Bills legend Jim Kelly announced he is battling cancer once again, and he has quite the support system behind him in Buffalo.
Cancer sucks. There is no more eloquent way to put it.
Those who have had it and have been lucky enough to fight it off know the toll it takes, while those with loved ones who have suffered know the feeling as well.
That is why it is so disheartening to see the news today about Jim Kelly.

The most amazing thing about this is how Kelly is able to remain so strong, almost as if to keep those who support him upbeat. It takes a truly special individual to remain so positive, and that is why he is a legend off the field as well.
Kelly asked for prayers in his statement and he will certainly receive that and more from those who were given so much joy and happiness by Kelly during his playing days. Players come and go all the time, and some have better careers than others. Then there are players who will never be forgotten, both because of their success on the field and the way they carry themselves once the glory days are over.
Kelly is Bills football and he will once again be in the thoughts of the fans and the team until he fights off this awful disease once again.
