The Buffalo Bills made a magical run to the playoffs thanks to a team filled with talent, but four players stood out among the best in the NFL.

Some fans from around the NFL may have seen the Buffalo Bills’ playoff berth as a lucky break thanks to Andy Dalton, but the team earned a spot thanks to help from some of the best players in the league.

Pro Football Focus recently released its list of the top 101 players from the 2017 season and the Bills had four players make it.

Those four were:

No. 21: Tre’Davious White

No. 95: Jordan Poyer

No. 97: Micah Hyde

No. 99: LeSean McCoy

These rankings should not come as a surprise for Bills fans who watched the team all season.

This also serves as a note for other NFL fans that the Bills have the necessary talent to continue making playoffs runs.

The hope is that a Bills quarterback can make this list one day, and perhaps that possibility will become likely after the NFL Draft. Or perhaps Nathan Peterman will become great.

Or maybe, just maybe, the team will continue to ride with Tyrod Taylor in 2018. What a novel concept.

But that is a whole other story, and it is good to see the four players be recognized among the best in the NFL.

The return to the playoffs was a long time coming and it took some top talent to lead the team back to that point. The goal now is to continue adding talent this offseason and take the team to even greater

heights, like winning a postseason game.

But for now, we can appreciate the work of the four who made PFF’s list.
