Shaquem Griffin, LB, UCF

The story of the week, hands down, was Shaquem Griffin, the UCF standout who had his left hand and part of his forearm amputated at the age of four as a result of amniotic band syndrome.

But that has stopped Griffin from playing Division 1 football and excelling. He was the best player on the field during the Peach Bowl and starred in Mobile.

While Griffin has yet to earn an invite to the NFL Combine. I expect him to get one in the near future.

He certainly proved he can hang this week in Mobile. Lining up as an edge rusher, linebacker and safety, Griffin displayed his position flexibility this week.

Griffin could be a target for the Bills on Day 3. His flexibility will be intriguing. If coaches can find ways to be creative with him and get him in space, Griffin could have success in the NFL.
