2) Run Defense
After giving up 194 rushing yards to the Jets, a whopping 298 rushing yards to the Saints, and 146 rushing yards to the Chargers something had to be done when it came to the run defense.

Bills defensive players stepped it up big time, holding the league’s second-leading rusher, Kareem Hunt, to just 17-yards on 11 carries. Kansas City only had a total of 55-yards on the ground and Alex Smith had 35-yards on the ground himself. The Bills virtually shut down the Chiefs on the run game.
