Pro Football Focus has released their player grades and game analysis after the Buffalo Bills fell to the New Orleans Saints 47-10.

It is a tough job deciphering which Buffalo Bills’ players played well in their game against the New Orleans Saints. Pro Football Focus does a good job of figuring that out with their individual player grades for every game.

The top grade Buffalo Bills player? Offensive tackle, Dion Dawkins. The offensive anchor received an 84.4 game grade for his play Sunday against the New Orleans Saints.

Here is Pro Football Focus‘ write-up for Dion Dawkins:

"In a game where the Bills offense struggled to get going one of the strengths was the play by left tackle Dion Dawkins. Dawkins, who was replacing a very good player in Cordy Glenn, allowed 0 pressures on 36 pass plays"

This game may have been one of the biggest in Sunday’s weak slate of NFL games. The Buffalo Bills hosted the New Orleans Saints who have been white hot as of late. It is safe to say that Buffalo did not know there was a game going on because they were ineffective in all three phases of the game.

Here are the top five Buffalo Bills’ game grades:

Dion Dawkins, 84.4 overall grade

CB Tre’Davious White, 81.0 overall grade

RB LeSean McCoy, 78.4 overall grade

Jordan Mills, 77.3 overall grade

Vladimir Ducasse, 76.7 overall grade

It is never a good sign when only two of your players eclipse the 80.0 grade mark. It is refreshing to see LeSean McCoy on the list of top five players once again, but in a clear losing effort at that.

Tyrod Taylor’s play was miserable. I was calling for everyone to hop aboard the Tyrod Taylor train this season, but after the past two weeks I’m not so sure. It is incredible how much disrespect Taylor gets in Buffalo, but some of it is starting to look warranted. That is not good for the dual-threat quarterback.

Here is Pro Football Focus‘ write-up for Tyrod Taylor:

"“The Bills were behind a lot early and had to rely on the passing game to get them back in the game, but the passing game was unable to get anything going.Taylor’s grade is not a disaster, but this is due to the fact that the Bills where unable to get first downs and Taylor didn’t get the opportunity to make many plays, good or bad, due to the quick three and outs throughout the game."

Buffalo falls to 5-4 and the race for the AFC East is slowly slipping away. One more loss and the team could find themselves in last place of the division.
