New Orleans Saints @ Buffalo Bills: 3 Bold Predictions

A tough Thursday night loss in New Jersey means the Bills lose Cordy Glenn and Zay Jones for the visit of the Saints.

The Saints come into the game as one of the hottest teams in the NFL, winning 6 in a row.  We’re all set for an exciting game in Buffalo tomorrow, so let’s get into the predictions…

1.) Charles Clay will score 2 TDs

Despite Nick O’Leary performing admirably in the absence of Clay, we have missed him. Clay was our best weapon before he went down with injury, I expect him to pick up where he left off. The Saints have some lockdown corners so far this year, but Clay can dominate the middle of the field. The Saints will score points and Tyrod will have to answer, hence why his favorite target will score twice.

Zay Jones would have been in-line for a big day if not for his unfortunate injury, that should give more targets to Charles Clay.

2.) The Defense to have a comeback game

It’s safe to say the defense was extremely poor against the Jets. The main reason the defense has looked so good in general so far is the turnovers, without that they look average, to say the least. If Leonard Johnson had come down with that pick in the first quarter, the game could have been quite different.

There’s no way McDermott will allow for two poor games in a row from his defense, expect Micah Hyde to grab himself another interception. Some pass rush wouldn’t go amiss, either.

3.) Bills to shutdown the Saints run game

When you think of the Saints, you automatically think of Drew Brees. However this year, they’re a bit different, they have a great run game. Alvin Kamara has been some find, the third round pick has 6 yards per carry with 3 TDs on the year. Mark Ingram has 4.4 yards per carry with 4 TDs, a slightly better 1-2 punch than Shady and Tolbert.

After the diabolical time we had watching Matt Forte destroy the Bills, I expect Kyle Williams to have the defense on top form this Sunday.

If they do manage to stop the run, it will force Drew Brees to put the team on his back in cold conditions, something he hasn’t been too good at in recent years…
