Protect Home Field

One good thing going for the Bills? They’re 3-0 at home.

Buffalo did a great job of using its home turf and fanbase at New Era Field to its advantage against Tampa Bay.

The Buccaneers had five penalties for 55 yards, including a pair of early penalties that derailed Tampa Bay’s opening drive. If the Bills can take advantage of their opponents mistakes as they have in their other home games this season, they’ll be on their way to a win.

A couple of fun facts in the Bills’ scouting report on the team’s website:

"“The Bills have scored at least 20 points in 12 consecutive home games, the longest active streak of its kind in the NFL. The Bills are 4-0 this season overall when scoring 20 points.” “Each of the last six meetings between the Bills and Raiders has been won by the home team.”"

This plays well into the Buffalo’s hands.
