The Buffalo Bills could potentially be 8-2 before the brutal stretch of the season begins.

Yes, you read that correctly.

If you looked at the Buffalo Bills’ schedule before the season, it was looking like a tough season for the young team. In what has been a wacky year in the NFL; team’s fortunes have changed, and injuries have occurred.

Following a loss to the Cincinnati Bengals, it is a bold move predicting the Bills ripping off a five-game win-streak. Four games is a real possibility.

Let’s take an extremely quick look at the Buffalo Bills’ upcoming games:

Week 7 vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Fresh off of a bye, the Buffalo Bills have had time to prepare for the Buccaneers. In what looked like a tough match-up before the season may not be anymore.

Tampa Bay is 2-3, but have given up 121 points on the season according to NFL.com, compared to Buffalo’s 74 points allowed.

Week 8 vs. Oakland Raiders

The Oakland Raiders recently signed veteran linebacker, NaVorro Bowman, but their offense is sinking. Oakland is currently 2-4 on the year with a tough match-up against Kansas City in the near future.

The Buffalo Bills have an advantage with this being their second home game in a row.

Week 9 @ New York Jets

The AFC East is on the way up. The division has been dominated by one team for so long, but now the other teams are out beating non-divisional opponents. The Jets have been a surprise, and being in a big-market helps overshadow the Buffalo Bills.

Nothing would be sweeter than winning this game on the road, Thursday night against the New York Jets.

Week 10 vs. New Orleans Saints

The third home contest in four games won’t hurt the Buffalo Bills at all. This could be one I potentially see the Bills dropping because of the high powered offense and a defense that has been scoring.

Buffalo is no stranger to facing Hall of Fame quarterbacks; just another day at the office.

Week 11 @ Los Angeles Chargers

The Chargers are 2-4 with a defense that loves to give up points. There were high hopes built up around this team prior to the season but has been disappointing for the most part.

In a game that will likely look like a home game for the Buffalo Bills in the small Chargers’ stadium; a win here will be crucial.

Final Outlook

I say the win against the Chargers is crucial because of what the Buffalo Bills step into following that game. The remainder of the season is not forgiving.

  • Week 12 @ Kansas City
  • Week 13 vs. New England
  • Week 14 vs. Indianapolis
  • Week 15 vs. Miami
  • Week 16 @ New England
  • Week 17 @ Miami

An absolutely ferocious schedule. Finishing the season out with two divisional opponents on the road will be very tough. Hopefully, there are playoff implications. My post week-6 prediction is that the Buffalo Bills finish the season 9-7.
