A look back at the Buffalo Bills’ Week 5 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals.

Just think, the Buffalo Bills are only a few plays from an undefeated record.

At the very least they still sport a winning record and sit in first place in the AFC East and second in the conference heading into Sunday’s action.

The bye week came at the perfect time for the Bills. After losing a handful of starters the past couple weeks to injury, this team could use the time off to rest up and get ready for the remaining 11 games on their schedule.

If the Bills want to remain in the playoff picture, they’ll have to start off on the right foot next weekend against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. It starts a string of five straight winnable games.

But before we look ahead, let’s look back at Buffalo’s Week 5 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals.

You know the drill, this column profiles the players who took steps forward and also regressed each week. Welcome to Risers and Fallers.
