Prediction: Who will win?

Sunday should be a dogfight between the Bills and Bengals. A win for Buffalo would put them in a very nice position with some momentum heading into their bye week. For the Bengals, they need a win at home to save their season. If they don’t right the ship soon, head coach Marvin Lewis and starting quarterback Andy Dalton could both be gone in the offseason.

The Bengals have been inconsistent this year. The first two weeks of the season they were terrible but their last two performances have been much better. Their inconsistency reminds me a little bit of the Bills under head coach Rex Ryan which is a memory I am happy to distance myself from. Under Ryan, one was never sure which Bills team would show up each week, the good or the bad and the same goes true for the Bengals so far this year.

If the game was played in Buffalo, I would feel pretty certain about a Bills victory. With the game in Cincinnati, against a desperate team looking to save their season, this game should come right down to the wire.

Ultimately I believe the difference will be determined by which team is coached better and Bills head coach Sean McDermott has shown a knack for making sure his team is prepared on Sunday’s in his short tenure with the team. Due to that fact, I believe Buffalo will emerge victorious 23 – 20.
