The Buffalo Bills square off against the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday at 1 p.m. at Paul Brown Stadium in Cincinnati.

The Buffalo Bills are coming off two huge wins in the prior weeks against the Atlanta Falcons and Denver Broncos. They enter the week with a 3-1 record and face a Cincinnati Bengals team who are off to a difficult 1-3 start to the year. The Bengals will be fighting for their season at home as a 1-4 start would reduce their playoff chances enormously.

Buffalo is 16 -12 all-time against the Bengals in the regular season and 0-2 against them in the postseason. At one point, from 1989 until 2010 the Bills won 10 straight against Cincinnati but recently the Bengals have gotten the best of the matchup winning three of their last four meetings.

If the Bills can make it out of Ohio with a victory on Sunday, they would retain sole possession of first place in the AFC East heading into to their bye week.

The weather on Sunday shouldn’t be much of a factor in the game. As of now, according to the AccuWeather forecast, it will be in the mid 70’s and cloudy with potential for rain in the afternoon.

You know the drill, each week during the regular season this column will provide three ways the Bills can secure a victory. So, without further ado, here are the Three Keys to the Game for the matchup against the Bengals which will be televised on CBS.
