The Bills enter a key AFC matchup more banged up than they would like to be.  Take a look at the final injury report, and what Sean McDermott had to say about injuries on Friday.

Bills Injuries

Questionable: CB EJ Gains (groin), CB Shareece Wright, T Cordy Glenn (foot/ankle), S Micah Hyde (knee)

OUT: LB Ramon Humber (thumb), WR Jordan Matthews (thumb)

The Bills defense, which has played so well this year, is dealing with injuries this week.  Let’s start with the good news: today Sean McDermott said that he was “fairly confident” that Micah Hyde would play Sunday.  He also said the same for Marcell Dareus and Shaq Lawson, who were not even listed on the final injury report.

For the bad news, it is not good to see both CB’s on the report, especially with AJ Green on the horizon.  Something to keep an eye out for would be if the Bills add a CB from their practice squad to their roster by 4pm on Saturday.  If they do, then it would be an indicator that either Gains or Wright cannot go on Sunday.

Bengals Injuries

Questionable: LB Jordan Evans

OUT: TE Tyler Eifert (back), WR John Ross (knee), FB Ryan Hewitt (knee), S Derron Smith (ankle).

Tyler Eifert being out is a gift for the Bills, especially with Tanner Vallejo likely getting the first start of his career.  The Bengals are also missing some key pieces, but are getting some back this week.  RT Jake Fisher (back) was limited in practice this week, but will most likely play since he was not listed on the final injury report.

Also, Bengals coach Marvin Lewis said on Friday that he thinks RG Try Hopkins, who hasn’t played since the opener, to suit up on Sunday.
