Did anybody expect the Buffalo Bills to beat Denver as comfortably as they did last Sunday? Certainly not ESPN…

The Bills showed up in a big way, though they’ll have an even harder task this Sunday in Atlanta. The Falcons are one of the two teams left unbeaten along with the Chiefs, although they have had their fair share of luck on the way. Anyway, into the predictions…

Buffalo keep their record of giving up no passing TDs this season

If the Bills are to win this Sunday, it’s going to be a low-scoring game. The defense has been lights-out so far this season, and I expect that to continue.

This will be no easy task, Tre White will likely have to cover Julio Jones. On the back of winning the defensive rookie of the month award, I’m sure he’ll be up for that challenge.

ORCHARD PARK, NY – SEPTEMBER 25: LeSean McCoy

Shady to rush for 150 yards

This doesn’t sound like the boldest prediction, granted, but the Bills rushing offense has been well below par so far this year. Atlanta’s run defense leaves a lot to be desired; they’ve been fortunate teams have had to come from behind and resorted to passing. Defensive end Courtney Upshaw along with Vic Beasley are set to miss the game through injury, which will be a big help for LeSean McCoy.

CHARLOTTE, NC – SEPTEMBER 17: Jerry Hughes

Matt Ryan to be sacked at least 6 times

If you look back over Sean McDermott’s games against Atlanta as Carolina defensive coordinator, they did well when they brought Matt Ryan down frequently. The Bills’ pass rush has been excellent so far this season, combine that with Atlanta missing offensive tackle Ryan Schraeder and we’re really in business. If Jerry Hughes has a good day, there’s a good chance the Bills do too.
