Buffalo Bills at Carolina Panthers: Three Keys to the Game

Make Cam Newton throw
I’m not convinced Cam Newton’s shoulder is completely healthy, and that’s why the Bills need to make him test it.
Even though Carolina is trying to limit the number of times Newton uses his legs, he’ll still get out there and run some.
But if Buffalo can keep Newton in the pocket, they’ll have an opportunity to force some turnovers.
"“Cam Newton’s a former MVP… we have to wrap up, he’s going to try to extend plays and make plays. We just have to be ready for that and tackle him come game time,” Shaq Lawson said, via BuffaloBills.com."
Jerry Hughes will be a player to watch on Sunday. He’s facing Matt Kalil, who gave up one quarterback hit and ranked 39th among fellow offensive tackles by Pro Football Focus in Week 1.
If Hughes and Co. can get after Newton, they’ll definitely have a shot at the upset.
"“Cam Newton’s a very dynamic quarterback. He can beat you with his arm, his legs, so you know we have to be fundamentally sound on defense,” Hughes said."
