This isn’t one of the main reasons why the Bills lost this afternoon but, it should definitely come into question. Questionable calls were called all day. A pass interference call on E.J. Gaines while defending Kelvin Benjamin late in the game was called against Buffalo’s newest cornerback. Both players were battling, it’s late in the game, let the players play.

This ultimately lead to Carolina getting their third field goal of the game thanks to Buffalo’s great defense. The following drive for Buffalo a clear face mask was missed on LeSean McCoy but no call. A few plays later an offensive pass interference call was made on Bills wide receiver Andre Holmes. Once again, let the players play.

Another head scratcher was during a punt return where a Bills coach was accidentally run into by a referee, resulting in a 15-yard penalty. This entire situation was just bizarre. Ultimately the game shouldn’t come down to be in the hands of the referee. Bills only beat themselves up today.
