The 2014 NFL Draft was one for the books.

The St. Louis Rams selected defensive-end Michael Sam out of the University of Missouri in the seventh-round. Sam, was the first openly gay player to ever be drafted in the NFL. The draft also had future stars selected such as Odell Beckham Jr., Aaron Donald, Mike Evans, Khalil Mack, Jadeveon Clowney and of course Sammy Watkins.

Oh Watkins, the man who was apparently the best wide-receiver leading up to the draft. The Bills originally had the ninth overall selection but, traded up to fourth with the Cleveland Browns to select Watkins.

But now three years later the Bills dealt Watkins to the Los Angeles Rams for cornerback E.J. Gaines and a 2018 2nd round pick. The Bills have used two first round picks on Watkins and he hasn’t done much.

The big question now is, was Watkins worth all the hype?
