A month before the NFL Draft began, USAA hosted several military analysts from Join Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst for a cool NFL draft experience.
For those that have been under a rock, the NFL Draft began yesterday and boy was the first round interesting. In fact, most mock drafts proved worthless after the top three players were selected. Leading up to the draft, USAA hosted military members for a day of football analysis with some of the best.
Bringing together military analysts of the U.S. Army, Navy and Air Force, USAA paired them with two NFL broadcasters — Ron Jaworski and Sal Paolantonio. Also in attendance was Greg Cosell of NFL Films, there to document the event. As a group, they talked about the NFL Draft and related it to analyzing military concepts.
A little bit about those that attended this mission.
USAA is the Official Military Appreciation Sponsor of the NFL and hosted the event as part of their ‘Salute to Service’ program. They are heavily committed to honoring the military authentically and continued that excellence leading up to the NFL Draft.
The military analysts had no idea what they were getting into. In their day-to-day lives, they are relied on in the armed forces to compile information and hold briefings that help make important decisions regarding military strategy.
