My thoughts are that if any team is telling you who they are picking, then they aren’t picking them.

The Browns have the #1 pick and even they are throwing out Trubisky’s name to see what happens. They are probably throwing it out for their #12 pick, but teams are assessing value for the prospects and the trade assets they can acquire.

How many times did the Buffalo Bills mention Shaq Lawson going into the 2016 draft? Maybe a couple times, but not enough to make Bills fans think he was a lock for their pick.

NFL teams have to disclose who visits their facilities and are limited in the number of player visits they can take. They also disclose who they interview during the combine. So those aren’t the ‘leaks’ and smokescreens.

These side visits, pictures, ‘anonymous sources’ are the ones that are driving up interest and conversation. If you want to guess who the Buffalo Bills will take, I would err more on the guys they seem to never discuss.

Marshon Lattimore, Jamal Adams, Malik Hooker, OJ Howard, etc. Those are the guys the Bills probably want at 10 — and will trade down to get if they think they can.
