The Bills are one of the eight best teams in the NFL according to ESPN’s Power Rankings.

The Buffalo Bills have been playing some fantastic football over the last several weeks. They entered the season with a number of injuries and suspensions that had fans worried about another losing season. That seems like a long time ago. After a lopsided victory over the 49ers, the Bills are now ranked 8th in ESPN’s power rankings. They climbed up the ranks an astonishing 16 spots!

Buffalo started the season with two close losses. Had a couple plays gone differently they could be undefeated. After those two losses, it seemed like everything was falling apart. Rex Ryan had his job on the line, Sammy Watkins re-injured his foot, and the season was unravelling. Since then, everything has changed.

The Bills are arguably the hottest team in the league right now. The defense, despite missing some key players, has played well. Shaq Lawson and Marcell Dareus are coming back. Zach Brown and Lorenzo Alexander have been all over the field. LeSean McCoy is back in MVP form. Tyrod Taylor has made plays with his feet and through the air. The signing of wide receiver Justin Hunter has proved to be a smart move so far. Hunter has a lot of talent but has never put it all together. He has scored in two straight games. Sammy Watkins may also come back at some point this season as well.

Up next for Buffalo is a Dolphins team that has talent, but has not played well. This is a very winnable game for the Bills. After the Dolphins, they have two of the toughest games of the year before their bye. The second half of the season looks favorable for the Bills right now. If they continue to play this way, they could win at least 10 games this year.

How do you feel about the team so far Bills fans?
