The Bills and Jets only have four days to prepare for their Thursday Night Football matchup. Here’s a look at the Vegas line, injury report, weather report and predictions for Week 2’s Buffalo Bills vs Jets game.
After what we saw on Sunday vs. the Ravens, it’s clear that the Buffalo Bills would need more than four days to figure out what went wrong. And looking at the way the Jets’ defense smothered Andy Dalton, chances are Tyrod Taylor is going to have a tough day at work.
Hopefully they can figure it out in their first game inside the AFC East division that they find themselves tied for second place in at 0-1. The Bills, Jets and Dolphins will all be fighting to separate themselves from the pack and pose a challenge for the 1-0 Patriots.
This is definitely an important game that could be the difference between a playoff spot or not. It’s still early in the season, but when playing a rival in your division, the stakes are much higher. Every play counts, every point, every yard and it’s going to take all of the Bills’ manpower to get this one done.
It’s certainly possible, though.
Let’s take a quick look at how the Vegas line is looking for this game, for those who like to bet on your hometown team.

Predictions
You’re going to get predictions from two of us today: co-editor Dennis Moody and myself.
Bills’ offensive coordinator Greg Roman will have to do a better job of calling the right play at the right time. This offense needs a spark after that terrible outing on Sunday and with this group, it just takes one little play for that spark to catch flame.
The Jets’ defense did a great job of sacking the quarterback and they will need that same kind of pressure on Taylor if they want to give us a hard time. If the Ravens proved anything on Sunday, it was that this offense struggles under pressure.
First, let’s get to Dennis Moody’s predictions on this game:
Buffalo Bills win 17-14
Bills’ defense scores first TD of the season.
Tough day for Taylor, but he helps lead the Bills’ on their final drive to score for the win.
Next, let’s get to my predictions on the game:
Buffalo Bills win 24-10
Stephon Gilmore and Ronald Darby each get an interception.
LeSean McCoy gets 100 yards rushing and Tyrod Taylor adds 40 yards rushing.
Well, there you have it. It’s time to get this show on the road!
When kick-off begins, we will be opening our live game thread where you can join in on the conversation throughout the entire game in our comments section. With updates, opinions, stats and a live scoreboard, it’s sure to liven up your Sunday gameday.
