Let’s have some fun.

The NFL season is still months away and, well, you can only talk so much about Bills minicamp updates without getting sick of hearing the same story drag out until the start of training camp.

As much as I love hearing people overreact about Stephon Gilmore’s “I’m only here so I won’t be fined” statement, I’m more concerned about what is going to happen in Winterfell.

HBO’s hit TV series Game Of Thrones has taken off by storm in the summer months for the past six years. It has become bigger than Star Wars or even The Sopranos. Let’s take a look and compare some of this year’s Buffalo Bills’ roster to some of the characters from the show:

Everyone knows Rob is the superstar that came out of the Gronkowski family, which is why I placed Glenn as The Hound who is the less prominent brother. Let’s face it, if his name was Glenn Smith, no one would really care who he is.

Marcell DareusDrogon

Drogon is one of Daenerys’ dragons. He is the biggest and baddest SOB the khaleesi has. He is the single reason all of Kings Landing is scared of a Targaryen take over. Dareus is the single factor in the Bills defensive line. He brings run blocking and pass rushing ability to the “Cold Front”. His dominant abilities make him comparable to Drogon.

Oh and Jerry Hughes and Kyle Williams are those other two dragons.

Next, we come to The Night’s Watch aka the Bills Offensive Line.

Eric Wood Jon Snow

Jon Snow is clearly the leader of The Night’s Watch which is why I compared Wood to him. Wood is known to be a leader not only on the offense but in the entire city of Buffalo. The Bills center is such a likable guy, just like Snow is. He earned the respect of all Wildlings and created the allegiance needed to take back Winterfell.

Cordy GlennSamwell Tarly

Sam is the big teddy bear who’s friends with Jon Snow and while he seems cuddly and nice, he is known for killing a Whitewalker. Glenn has a huge frame who is also friendly, but if someone attacks his QB, it might be the end for that defensive player.

Richie Incognito The Mountain aka Sir Gregor Clegane

I tried to relate him to someone from The Night’s Watch, but Incognito just fills in all the boxes for The Mountain. He’s a big bad-ass bully, just like the character from the show.

Rex RyanEuron Greyjoy

Last but certainly not least is Rex Ryan. He’s the most animated person to speak on behalf of the Bills which is certainly relatable to Euron Greyjoy, the possible new up and coming antagonist of Game Of Thrones. Euron promised all the Greyjoy’s great things if he were King, including dragons. It’s kind of what Ryan told the Bills media and the entire city of Buffalo in his first press conference, a playoff spot.
