DT Adolphus Washington Made A Pre-Draft Visit To The Bills.

Defensive tackle Adolphus Washington made a pre-draft visit to the Bills. The Ohio State defensive tackle is 6’3″ and 301 pounds according to NFL.com. He played on the same defensive line as star defensive end Joey Bosa who is likely to be a top 5 pick this year.

Some argue that because of Bosa getting double teamed that Washington received less attention and was able to thrive but without a star player alongside him that he would not have had the same success. It’s doubtful that he would have been selected as first-team All-American by the Sporting News his senior year if there was much credit to that argument.

He has a tall frame and critics of him will point to the fact that he needs to gain more strength in his legs. The big red flag on him is that he was once caught trying to solicit a prostitute and was suspended for the Fiesta Bowl.

The charges against Washington were eventually dropped when he agreed to go to a course called “John School”. He showed extremely poor judgement especially so close to such a big moment in his life but these are young men we are talking about and they usually make a few mistakes in their lives.

In college, he played as a 4-3 defensive tackle primarily but he is a versatile player who was lined up in various spots during his time at Ohio State. He is the type of player Rex Ryan would love to have because he can do many things.

He is projected to go in either the 3rd or 4th round by many experts. He could be a good value pick for the Bills in those rounds if he is available when they select because of his overall potential and his versatility.
