Buffalo Bills Circling the Wagons: Rex Ryan’s Swagger
The Buffalo Bills have gone through major changes over the past day. One of the heart beats is now gone and a part of you feels like it is lost. In another sense, the Buffalo Bills have the exciting Tyrod Taylor “T-Mobile” as their starting quarterback going into week one. They have downsized to 75 players and by next week need to be to their 53 man limit.

Rather than wear his blue No. 23 jersey for practice, Williams hit the field wearing Jackson’s No. 22 white jersey — with Jackson’s name printed on the back — to pay tribute to the veteran running back, who was among 11 players released by the Bills on Monday.
“It’s just like having a brother be gone,” Williams said.
Rex Ryan looked lost.
Though his new team, the Buffalo Bills, was kicking off its final night practice of training camp last week at St. John Fisher College, Ryan ambled around almost aimlessly. The coach and football junkie wanted to talk shop but couldn’t find anyone.
Finally, senior offensive assistant Chris Palmer, perched on a brick ledge by, caught Ryan’s eye — and the war stories and debates about their favorite players immediately ensued.
Freeman was signed by the Jets as an undrafted free agent in 2013. He was released from the 53-man roster but spent the 2013 season on New York’s practice squad. Last season, Freeman played the majority of snaps in Week 16 against the Patriots last season after Jets center Nick Mangold went down with an injury. He proceeded to start in Week 17 against the Miami Dolphins. Freeman played 111 snaps last year with the Jets.
Some are worried about embattled New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady taking a marketability and endorsements hit as a result of the NFL’s ill-conceived Deflategate investigation into whether the player encouraged team personnel to mess around with footballs before a game. But let’s focus on the positive NFL marketing story: Wireless carrier T-Mobile suddenly has a huge marketing opportunity to sync up with another Tyrod Taylor, newly named starting quarterback for the Buffalo Bills.
The Buffalo Bills took to the practice field for the last time before the preseason finale against the Detroit Lions, and the Bills got quite a bit of good news from the injury front.
