Tight Ends

Starter: Charles Clay

Reserves: MarQueis Gray, Matthew Mulligan and Nick O’Leary

Yet another position where the Bills are set with their starter. As with Felton, they didn’t sign Clay to a big contract, just to spend too much time on the sidelines.

Gray currently has the inside track on the number two spot for the Bills. He started the team’s final five games last season, and he is expected to progress this year, especially with his ties to Buffalo’s new offensive coordinator, Greg Roman.

Mulligan looks like another good bet to survive the cull. He is renowned more for his blocking skills than his catching, but that will be good enough for a Bills team that will likely be one of the more run-oriented offense’s in the NFL this season.

The final place on the team will be a battle between O’Leary and Chris Gragg. As things stand, it really is a tossup between the two, so don’t read too much into my selecting O’Leary.
