With the return of the NFL season, comes the return of tailgating and game day feasts at home.
Celebrate the first Buffalo Bills preseason game against the Carolina Panthers with this classic recipe for Buffalo Chicken Pinwheel Bites.
This recipe is a piece of cake and can be easily transported to a tailgate, game day party or can simply be gobbled up in the comfort of your own home.
Not only do these Buffalo Chicken Pinwheel Bites taste amazing but they also require only five ingredients to make. Your guests will think you spent hours slaving away in the kitchen when really you whipped this dish up in hardly any time. It’s a win-win situation! And the best part about this recipe is you probably already have most of the ingredients on hand in your pantry.
The recipe serves four people, but if you are cooking for a larger tailgating crowd, just multiply the proportions for your desired amount.

Buffalo Chicken Pinwheel Bites |
1 tube Pillsbury Crescent Rolls 1 cup Shredded or cubed cooked chicken 1/4 cup Hot Sauce | 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese 1/4 cup blue cheese crumbles |
INSTRUCTIONS |
1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F
2. Mix together the chicken, hot sauce, and cheeses in a medium
sized mixing bowl.
3. On a lightly floured surface roll out the crescent dough
pressing together the seems.
4. Spread the chicken mix over the dough and roll it up like a
jelly roll.
5. Place the roll in the fridge for 5-10 minutes.
6. Remove from fridge and slice into 1 inch pieces.
7. Place on parchment covered baking sheet and bake at 400 F for
10-12 minutes or until golden brown.
Serve with blue cheese dressing and celery.
