Buffalo Bills Circling the Wagons: Corey Graham, Rex Ryan

More from Buffalo Bills News

We are one day into the training camp scene and LeSean McCoy has already made his abilities known.  The quarterback competition is officially underway, along with all of the other competitions.  Corey Graham came out as the starting safety yesterday, so it looks like it might be his to lose at this point.

Here are your daily links for the Buffalo Bills from around the web.

Roddy Piper cuts promo on the Buffalo Bills

"The professional wrestling world lost a legend on Friday with the passing of Rowdy Roddy Piper. Growing up, Piper was always a personal favorite of mine. Not only could the guy wrestle, but he was one of the most entertaining wrestlers on a microphone. No one could talk like Piper and even if he was bashing your city or your favorite team, you just had to sit back and laugh. In honor of Piper, here’s a promo he cut in 1984 about an appearance in Buffalo. Throughout the interview with Mean Gene Okerlund, Piper makes fun of the Buffalo Bills who were 0-8 when the promo was filmed.Piper was truly rowdy before rowdy was cool."

Drake vs. Meek Mill: LeSean McCoy, Duke Williams and other Buffalo Bills weigh in on rappers’ feud

"Duke Williams was making his way back to the Buffalo Bills players’ dorm at St. John Fisher late Thursday night when he heard that Meek Mill had taken another swing at Drake in the feud of the summer.Drake and Meek Mill, two of the biggest hip hop artists in the world, are in the midst of a rap battle that has captivated the hip hop world. It all started when Meek Mill accused Drake of not writing his own raps, claiming Drake used a ghostwriter for his verse on R.I.C.O, a song on Meek Mill’s latest album."

McCoy stars as Bills open camp

"After LeSean McCoy’s arrival in March excited much of the Buffalo Bills’ fan base, the running back decided to give back on the first day of training camp.A little more than halfway through practice Friday, McCoy picked up a ball along the sideline and threw it into the stands, drawing a loud chorus of cheers.“I always try to get the fans involved,” said McCoy, who was acquired in a trade that sent linebacker Kiko Alonso to the Philadelphia Eagles. “No player is there actually looking forward to camp. So the fans come out here and cheer us up and get us going. I try to do the same.”"

Bills‘ Ryan is giddy about day one of camp

"I have to tell you, that may have been the most excited I’ve seen fans to open up training camp. When players started to take the field, I think the cheers were louder than ever before. I thought Jack Eichel had shown up.As you can imagine Rex Ryan was also off the charts too and couldn’t contain his excitement, “I would like to say I thought it was going to be tough to find something to top jumping out of a plane, but as a football coach I think this topped it. The reason I say it is this day was a long time coming, you can’t wait to get out, you itch and are ready to go and you get out here and you experience the fans, you experience the great weather, on the grass it’s tremendous.”"

Buffalo Bills safety competition update

"On Friday morning, the Buffalo Bills took to the fields at St John Fisher to open training camp. After missing the entirety of off-season workouts, Aaron Williams finally took to the field at his customary starting free safety position. Getting first crack at starting opposite him? Former cornerback-turned-safety Corey Graham. Rex Ryan wants the best 11 players on the field and for now, it looks like he believes Graham is one of the 11 best defenders."
