The Buffalo Bills have a total of 9 cornerbacks on their roster coming into training camp. Of the 9, the likely magic number for the cornerbacks will be 6.

Leodis McKelvin, Stephon Gilmore and Ronald Darby, in my book are all locks to make the team.  McKelvin was having a stellar year last year before he was lost due to injury.  Stephon Gilmore has always been solid and will be left on an island alone this year.

Ronald Darby is going to be the starter alongside Gilmore.  If the reports from offseason workouts are true about him, he has a lot of potential to bring to the Buffalo Bills’ secondary.

Nickell Robey also will get my vote for the roster.  He has been nothing less than solid in his short time with the Buffalo Bills.

With two spots left, the Bills will have to make a decision on Ron Brooks, Mario Butler, Roos Cockrell, Rod Sweeting and Cam Thomas.  Ron Brooks is a player that I can see not making this team this year.  Call it what you want but I have a feeling that his time is up in Buffalo.  That leaves 4 of the above mentioned players for 2 spots.
