The wide receiver position probably has the most depth to it right now, which also means that there is going to be the most cuts stemming from this position.  The Buffalo Bills will most likely keep 6 receivers and I can’t see them going more than 7 receivers at this point.

As far as locks go at the wide receiver position, Sammy Watkins, Robert Woods and Percy Harvin are the three wide receivers that are definite for the start of the season.  With 4 spots, max left available, Chris Hogan is a player that I feel will make this team based on his production and route running ability, similar to Robert Woods.  A slot guy that is dependable to catch the ball on passing downs.

Marcus Easley is going to make this team as a special teams guy, similar to Boobie Dixon.

So at this point there are 5 players making this team with, at most, 2 spots left available.  Marquise Goodwin is a guy that will need to work to show he brings something special to the table to be needed on this team.  He has the speed to go deep and stretch the field, but so do other players in the wide receiving corps.

Dezmin Lewis is a guy that brings size and speed to the field as well. He can also stretch the field to make those big plays.  Marcus Thigpen is a specialist when it comes to kick and punt returns.  Will there be a spot for him.  I think that these 8 guys are the ones that will be the final decision that the coaches will have to fit into 6-7 spots on the roster.  Justin Brown, Caleb Holley, Andre Davis, Tobias Palmer and Deonte Thompson I do not think will be around for the start of the season.
