Charles Clay was a 6th round draft pick in the 2011 draft by the Miami Dolphins, not too bad on the draft value.  Clay began his career as a fullback and will still lineup in the backfield as an H-back.  He is considered to be a hybrid tight end.

Clay has played in 58 games for the Miami Dolphins and started 47 of them.  He currently has 161 receptions for just over 1800 yards and 14 touchdowns.  Clay is moving from one inconsistent offense to another.

The Buffalo Bills have loaded their offense up with weapons, but are still in need of even an average quarterback at this point.  Greg Roman, the offensive coordinator, is a mastermind when it comes to using tight ends.

In 4 years with San Francisco, Vernon Davis came away with 26 touchdowns.  With a 5 year deal for 38 million, the Buffalo Bills provided Clay with a statement that they are ready to use the tight end position, and with Greg Roman heading the coordination of the offense, we could see Charles Clay at the top of the list or near it when it comes to targets.

As far as the fantasy number look for Charles Clay, with a lot of weapons on the offensive side of the ball, there could be a lot of happy people on the offense or a lot of unhappy people, depending on how the wealth is spread.  As for Charles Clay, being in a offense that utilizes the tight end  =in so many way, Clay could be looking at better numbers than that of last year, which finished him with 78 points for the season, but this coming from an offense out of Miami.

"“They want to use me in a lot of different positions, moving around a bit, which is something I feel very comfortable doing. Dating back all the way to high school, playing running back and getting to college and playing so many different positions and then coming here to Miami and playing a lot. It’s something I feel very comfortable doing so whatever they ask me to do, I’m willing to do it, I’m going to work at it and try to master it. I’m excited. I can’t wait.”– CBSSports.com"
