There are 8 more Sunday’s until the Buffalo Bills hit the field for their first preseason game on August 14th and 13 more Sundays until the season is official underway.  The Buffalo Bills have mandatory training camp this week and then are off until July 20th for training camp.

Here are your daily links for the Buffalo Bills from around the web.

Bills‘ offensive line centers on Wood

"Practically every offseason conversation about the Buffalo Bills’ offensive line has dealt with newcomers John Miller and Richie Incognito taking most of the starting repetitions at guard, or Seantrel Henderson and Cordy Glenn alternating sides at tackle. Little, if anything, is mentioned about the center, Eric Wood. Generally speaking, that’s a good thing. The less said about offensive linemen, the better. When they aren’t noticed, it usually means they’re performing well or, in this case, they’re not an area of concern within a unit that raised plenty of concerns throughout the 2014 season."

LeSean McCoy, Sammy Watkins, and Rex Ryan Play Softball for A Cause

"A sea of blue washed over Frontier Field Saturday. Buffalo Bills fans took over for LeSean McCoy’s celebrity charity softball game. “I’m extremely excited,” said Ron Payne.” I haven’t been able to sleep because I was so excited. I’ve been up all night just because I was so excited. Selena Dutcher drove from Albany to watch the game. “We’re huge bills fans and we come up three or four times a year anyway for Bills games. It’s a beautiful day and for a good cause. “"

Buffalo Bills need to sign Evan Mathis

"There was some talk earlier in the offseason regarding the Buffalo Bills and a possible trade with the Philadelphia Eagles for guard Evan Mathis.  Well, a trade is no longer necessary as the Eagles pulled a power move, cutting the former Pro-Bowl player after refusing to give in to his contract demands. Evan MathisMathis is one of the top guards in the NFL.  He’s a former two time Pro-Bowler as well as a former First-Team All Pro selection.  At 33, Mathis is exiting the prime of his career, but the veteran is still one of the leagues most dominant interior lineman.  Mathis and the Bills would be a perfect match, and it would be foolish for them to not, at the very least, give him a call."

McCoy charity softball game a big hit at Frontier Field

"Buffalo Bills head coach Rex Ryan proved to be a man of his word Saturday night at Frontier Field. When he strolled onto the field, greeted by a huge roar from a crowd of about 5,000, he took a look at the makeshift fence set up in the outfield for LeSean McCoy’s Third Annual Charity Softball Game, and he knew it wasn’t going to be his night. “I will say this, that fence is way too far back,” Ryan said with that engaging smile of his. “I’ll act like I’m disappointed, but there’s no way I’m going to reach that thing. This home run derby I’m going to make a guarantee that I’m not going to hit one out.”"

Rex Ryan says Buffalo Bills will do ‘due diligence’ on free agent Evan Mathis, but he’s happy with

"If the Buffalo Bills are in play for free agent guard Evan Mathis, coach Rex Ryan is doing his best to hide the interest. Speaking at LeSean McCoy’s celebrity softball game at Frontier Field in Rochester Saturday night, Ryan continued to throw support behind rookie John Miller and newly signed Richie Incognito, who have been starting at guard “(Mathis) is a good football player, there’s no doubt,” Ryan said. “We’ll do our due diligence so to speak, but I’m pretty happy with our guards right now.”"
