The Buffalo Bills have finished their OTAs for 2015 and will now move onto their mandatory mini-camp, next week. After that, we wait until training camp begins on July 20th. Evan Mathis has also become available as CHip Kelly has made another stellar move that could help the Bills by releasing the star guard.

6 players under the radar going into minicamp
"Woodstock was three days of fun and music. The Bills mandatory minicamp next week is three days also, and while it could be fun, music is not likely to be part of the plan. Bills fans already know the major players in this offseason of change—Head Coach Rex Ryan, RB LeSean McCoy, WR Percy Harvin, TE Charles Clay, FB Jerome Feltonand others. But what about the under-the-radar names? What about the players on the fringes of the roster who’ve demonstrated some flashes of brilliance in the last ten weeks of voluntary workouts? Which of these relatively unknown players have done enough so far to warrant another look in the upcoming minicamp? Here’s a list of six players who bear watching in the three days ahead, and into training camp:"
Bills‘ Gray fights for a role at tight end
"The Buffalo Bills won’t release an official depth chart until sometime during training camp. For now, though, here is a good idea of how things look at tight end: 1. Charles Clay. 2. Everyone else. “It is a good battle,” Bills coach Rex Ryan said of the competition among MarQueis Gray, Chris Gragg, Nick O’Leary and Clay Burton to earn reserve roles behind Clay. “They’re each a little different in the physical attributes that they bring, but all of them have a shot.”"
At 22, linebacker Brown set to take command of Bills‘ defense
"Rex Ryan reacts in mock surprise when reminded how young Preston Brown is, and the trust the Bills are placing in the second-year linebacker to command the huddle of their high-priced defense. “Oh, gawd, I didn’t realize he was 22. I’m a little nervous,” the Bills new coach said. “But no. He certainly has more of, I don’t know if mature is the right word. But he’s been around the game awhile.”"
E.J. Manuel Was Screwed From The Start
"When a baby is in the womb, the early stages of development are paramount. One cell could be responsible for an arm, leg or lung. When an NFL quarterback enters the league, his early years of development are also paramount. Land in the wrong environment and your fate is practically predetermined. Had Tom Brady been drafted to the Cleveland Browns in 2000, well, he’d probably be a telemarketer. Had Blaine Gabbert been drafted to anywhere except the Jacksonville Jaguars, he wouldn’t have been Eddard Stark’s NFL doppelgänger."
Source: Bills inquiring about Mathis
"The Buffalo Bills are inquiring about former All-Pro guard Evan Mathis, but want to know what his expectations are before determining their own level of interest, according to a league source. Mathis, an 11-year veteran, was cut by the Philadelphia Eagles Thursday night after a contract dispute. A 2005 third-round pick by the Carolina Panthers, Mathis has skipped all of the Eagles voluntary OTAs this offseason."
