Bills‘ Lawson makes up for lost time
"Rex Ryan doesn’t conceal much, and he was as transparent as could be regarding his feelings about Manny Lawson missing the early portion of the Buffalo Bills’ offseason workouts. “I was mad at Manny, because he showed up for one day and took a lot of things off,” the coach said. Yes, the “things” the Bills have been doing for the past couple of months have been voluntary for the players. Nevertheless, Ryan and the rest of the Bills’ new coaching staff are implementing new schemes on both sides of the ball."
Bills entire DL cracks Top 100
"Add another honor to the Buffalo Bills 2014 defensive line. Wednesday night Mario Williams was revealed as the #42 overall player on NFL Network’s “Top 100 Players.” All four Bills defensive linemen have now made the list, the first time that’s ever happened for one team. Williams joins #53 Marcell Dareus, #63 Jerry Hughes, and #72 Kyle Williams on the “Top 100.” Williams, Dareus, and Kyle Williams were all named to the Pro Bowl after last season."
Rex Ryan: ‘We won’t have LeBron at quarterback’
"Rex Ryan stated the obvious, but he did so in the most Rex Ryan kind of way. When asked about his current quarterback situation, Ryan made it pretty clear to reporters on Wednesday that his new team, the Buffalo Bills, does not have its version of LeBron James — who is currently in the middle of a historic NBA Finals performance — at quarterback. “It’s safe to say we won’t have LeBron at quarterback,” Ryan said, though it’s worth noting that his LeBron reference was prompted by a reporter who asked him which quarterback was going to be the Bills’ LeBron for the 2015 season. “We may have LeBron at defensive tackle and at defensive end but we don’t have him at quarterback.”"
Bills‘ Rex Ryan says Richie Incognito has been ‘outstanding’
"One week after saying he has been “ecstatic” withBuffalo Bills rookie guard John Miller, coach Rex Ryan said Wednesday that veteran guard Richie Incognito has been “outstanding” in practice this spring. “We brought in Miller with that expectation, we had him in our building for the mental part, which we felt good about, and the physical part we also felt good about,” Ryan said. “That’s why we drafted him where we did, and let me tell you this: When you add Incognito on the other side, I think Richie looks outstanding."
Bills player to visit golf tourney
"Golfers at the Wellsville Country Club will have to make room for a professional football player Friday. A member of Buffalo Bills will visit Wellsville as part of the Allegany County United Way Golf, BBQ and Blues event. Details on which player will make the trip to Allegany County have not been released, said Barbara Bates, United Way executive director."
