4.  Dezmin Lewis Will Surprise People

There’s usually not a whole lot you can say about a seventh-round pick out of the University of Central Arkansas.  But there is a lot to say about a 6-4, 215 lb receiver that runs a sub 4.4.

That guy is Dezmin Lewis.  You might have heard about him when he made the SportsCenter Top 10 last year with this ridiculous catch.

Buffalo seems to be set at the wide receiver position with Sammy Watkins, Robert Woods, Percy Harvin, Chris Hogan and Marquise Goodwin ahead of Lewis on the depth chart.  The top-three posts are all-but locks to be the go-to guys come September but Goodwin and Hogan are certainly no locks to make the roster.

Hogan is a similar type of player to Harvin with his overall quickness and ability to make people miss.  Goodwin is specifically a straight-line runner and is nothing more than a down-the-field threat.

Lewis, with some coaching at the professional level, can be a starter sooner rather than later.  He has speed, showcased his leaping ability in the Reese’s Senior Bowl, and you saw just what kind of concentration and hands he has in the link above.
