Ronald Bartell. '05. player. 51. . DB. nfl

Ronald Bartell

was drafted by the St. Louis Rams in 2005 as the 50th overall pick.  In 96 games he was able to total 310 tackles, 8 interceptions and 2 sacks.  He is no longer in the league.

As far as the 50th overall pick goes, the more recent picks are still in the league the older picks, 2009-2005, except for Calais Campbell in 2008 are out of the league.  Except for Jonathan Bostic, Marcus Gilchrist, Ronald Bartell, and Calais Campbell, the rest have had pretty average careers or just never got started, of course not counting last years pick, Jeremiah Attaocho.

As for the Buffalo Bills and the choice to make at 50 for this coming draft, go needs of the team with a look at the best available as well.  It looks as though it is usually a primary defensive position at 50 and some have worked out.  Will that LB or DB depth chart move be made at 50 for the Buffalo Bills and Rex Ryan?
