It was a meaningless game. It was all about pride. But Buffalo had just ended New England’s 15-game winning streak against them, and the Patriots wanted to show who was boss in the regular season finale. Realistically, all they had to do was point to the number of playoff appearances in the decade, let alone the three Super Bowls at this point, to show who the boss of the AFC East was. So what did they do? They gave the Bills false hope. A Tashard Choice four-yard rush and a pair of Ryan Fitzpatrick touchdown passes gave Buffalo a 21-0 lead at the end of the first quarter. What happened later could be classified as a massacre, as the Patriots finished off the final three quarters scoring 49 straight points, and rolling past the Bills as Tom Brady hit his tight ends for all three TD passes.
