Williams certainly had an up-and-down week last week. He improved on his poor 40-yard-dash time at his pro day by running a 4.4 and followed that performance up with a DUI on last Friday. This isn’t his first stint with the law, however, as he was involved in a hit-and-run accident last Fall when he fled the scene on foot.
His troubles with the law are expected to drop his stock, but how much? If a team does enough homework on Williams he may not fall at all. He portrays the bump-and-run style of cornerback that Ryan loves to have. We’ll find out on May 1 whether or not Ryan likes Williams enough to take a chance on him.
