Carl Davis will come in and play the Nose Tackle in between All Stars Kyle Williams and Marcell Dareus in Rex Ryan’s Defense. Davis is a fine young prospect at Defensive tackle who will have the luxury of playing along side All Stars on all sides of him in this defense. Davis is a bruising physically imposing player who can bully opposing offensive lineman and had an exceptional performance at the senior bowl that propelled him into the spot light. Davis does let opponents from time to time dictate how his opponents allow him to play. This is a problem that is easily remedied with a great defensive line coach and defensive minded coach. Although Davis’s stats do not jump off the stat sheet, that is to be expected of a big defensive tackle as they are the ones taking on the double teams and eating up blockers so that they can allow the Linebackers behind them to scrape across the play and make the tackles. Expect Davis to be the anchor in the middle of this defense for a long time. Davis is a beast of an athlete and a football player and he will continue to show that on the best defensive line in football and possibly the best defensive unit in all of Football.
