It didn’t take long for the Buffalo Bills and Rex Ryan to make their first move to improving the 2015 Buffalo Bills.  Bringing in Ritchie Incognito is one to possibly sure up the interior of the offensive line that was just plain horrendous this past year.

  • It looks like they are on their next move to help the quarterback position.  Josh McCown has been seen in Buffalo and was schedule to take in a Buffalo Sabres game last night before meeting with the Buffalo Bills organization.

Both Adam Schefter and Moke Rodak have confirmed that Josh McCown is in Buffalo today to try and work out a deal to become one of the possibilites for the Buffalo Bills at quarterback.

Buffalo has EJ Manuel as really their only other quarterback on the roster.  They brought in Kyle Orton last year, which proved to be a minor upgrade at the position, will Josh McCown be more of an upgrade for the Bills?  Josh McCown was released by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers earlier this month, which more than shows the direction that they will be looking in the draft.

McCown has not had a very good career so far but does bring in some veteran experience for the Buffalo Bills.  Will this be the only quarterback that the Buffalo Bills sign? Most likely not.  I can still see the Bills bringing in Mark Sanchez, who is familiar with Rex Ryan as well as a guy like Brian Hoyer or even Jake Locker as well, to help supplement the possibilities and choices for Rex Ryan and Greg Roman at the quarterback position.

I don’t think that the Bills are looking at McCown as their future quarterback for the long term, but more of a stop gap for the near future until a determination can be made on EJ Manuel or provide them with the option of drafting another quarterback in the 2016 draft.
