Both the Buffalo Bills and the Miami Dolphins have a short turnaround before their game on Thursday.  Doug Marrone and staff have basically put the tough loss to the Kansas City Chiefs behind them and moved on, as they have to with only 3 days until the game.  They have deconstructed the tape of the Miami Dolphins and Detroit Lions game to get ready for the upcoming Thursday Night Match-up.

Here are some quotes about how the Players and Marrone are feeling before the game this Thursday.

"“It’s accelerated. It’s much more challenging for what we have to do, because you come in after the game and you literally walk across the street and come back in. You’re waiting for things to come in and you’re prepping or you’re watching the game that you just played, which is what most of us did as we were waiting for the film to come in. How you prepare and how you practice is difficult and a challenge. Obviously, today is just a walkthrough. We just played a game yesterday. Tomorrow is more like a Saturday or Friday type of practice. You’re trying to get it to where you can make sure that they’re prepared and ready to go and seeing things at a speed that they’re going to see in four short days. I think those are all the challenges. We all have them. Obviously, the team we play has it. At least it’s equal from that sense.”– Doug Marrone, Syracuse.com“I don’t really like short weeks, but you know we have to go with it and just pick up things more quickly.”“Recovering is one of the things that sucks about Thursday games. For all the guys that are beat up they don’t have much time to really have their body rest and recover, so that’s the main thing.”– Aaron WilliamsPhysically. That’s a lot of it this late in the year with a quick turnaround. So physically trying to get your body back on such a quick turnaround and trying to get the preparation that you need to get a game plan in and get comfortable with it this quickly. I think everyone has kind of moved on to Miami this morning.”“The nature is to lose a tough game like that, feel like you kind of gave it away at the end, to let that linger and hang on to you through the week. But we can’t afford that this week. Usually, the first day (of the week) that we start practice is the day that we’re going to be traveling down to Miami to get ready to play a game the next day. We’re looking forward to that.”– Kyle Williams"

The Bills will not have a day off this week but will then have 10 days to get ready for the New York Jets.  It is a tough turnaround but that is what they get paid for and the Dolphins will have the same amount of time.  The Bills will most likely leave to head to Miami on Wednesday.  It is a little tougher to travel on a short week than be the home team, but Buffalo does have Miami’s number beating them the last 3 times, with a win already in the books earlier this year; 29-10.
