With the final preseason game behind us, we will take a look at the upcoming roster cuts that the Buffalo Bills have to make happen by tomorrow.

More from Buffalo Bills News

Going through by position, lets start on the offensive side of the ball and look at the offensive line.  The Bills have 3 centers on the roster right now, not counting LS Garrison Sanborn who will make the team.  Eric Wood and Doug Legursky will make this team, Jared Wheeler will be the odd man out.

Moving on to the guard position The Bills have 4 guards listed.  At this point, I see three of them making this team, Chris Williams, Cyril Richardson and Kraig Urbik. Antoine McClain is the odd man out.

The tackle spot is next.  The Bills have 5 listed, and they keep them all, Cordy Glenn, Chris Hairston, Seantrel Henderson, Cyrus Kouandjio, and Erik Pears.

The TE position currently has 5 players on the roster.  The Bills will only keep three.  I think that Dominique Jones and Tony Moeaki are the ones that go.  Moeaki has a downside with his injuries and I think that this is the main reason he is gone.  Scott Chandler, Lee Smith, and Chris Gragg all slip through.

The Wide Receiver position is one that will be a difficult choice.  They have 9 listed but will only keep 6 at most.  Here are my keeps, Mike Williams, Sammy Watkins, Marquise Goodwin, Robert Woods, T.J. Graham, and Chris Hogan. This leaves Naaman Roosevelt, Caleb Holley, and Marcus Easley on the outs.

Quarterback is next on the chopping block, but no one goes anywhere.  All three stay, EJ Manuel, Jeff Tuel, and Jordan Palmer.

Running Back is a difficult choice.  If the Bills decide to keep three then I think that Anthony Dixon is the odd man out. But I am not sure they will cut anyone from here.  I keep all 4.  C.J. Spiller, Fred Jackson, Bryce Brown, and Anthony Dixon.

The full back position is an interesting one.  This is more of a specialized position than a lot think.  We have a true FB in Frank Summer and more of an H-Back style FB in Even Rodriquez.  I like them both and Rodriquez can double at the TE spot.  I think both stay, but if one goes Evan Rodriguez is the one with the pink slip in hand.

The offense comes in with 27 players on their side of the roster which does not include Rodriguez or Dixon.

With the offense having 27 spots taken up. The defense is allotted 26 spots.  Lets see if we can do this.

Defensive line is the place to start.  The Bills currently have 11 players on the roster for the defensive line. We know Mario Williams, Jerry Hughes, Kyle Williams, and Marcell Dareus will all be on the squad.  I believe that Jarius Wynn and Manny Lawson round out the defensive ends and Landon Cohen and Stefan Charles will finalize the defensive line.  The Bills let go Ike Igbinosun, Bryan Johnson, and Corbin Bryant.

At Linebacker we see Brandon Spikes, Nigel Bradham, and Keith Rivers as the starters.  With 6 others. I think they keep 3 more with Preston Brown, Jimmy Gaines, and Ty Powell. Randall Johnson, Xavier Boyd, Jacquies Smith are the ones left standing on the corner.

With 10 corner backs on the current roster, 4 go and the Bills keep 6.  Stephon Gilmore, Leodis McKelvin, Corey Graham, and Nickell Robey all have a spot.  The other two will go to Bobby Felder and Rookie Sam Miller.  Ron Brooks, Mario Butler, Ross Cockrell, and Kamaal McIlwain will be gone.

The safety position will hold on to 4 players.  Aaron William, Norris Searcy, Duke Williams, and I think that Deon Broomfield squeaks past Jonathan Meeks for the 4th spot.  Jonathan Meeks and Kenny Ladler wont make the cut.

Both Dan Carpenter and Brian Moorman are safe.  Jordan Gay is let go.

The defense and special teams comes in at 26 players.

The Buffalo Bills could look to cut one or two other players that are practice squad eligible to keep a 4th running back and 2nd full back.  Those two are listed in the cuts even though I think that they will make this team in some manner.  Look for maybe Stefan Charles to be placed on practice squad for room as well as Deon Broomfield so that Rodriguez and Dixon are kept.  Look for most of the rookies and second year guys that are being cut to make the practice squad which will be determined on Sunday.
