Tony’s Team

"Led by a Talented WR Corps, Tony’s Team Will Dominate This League Draft Summary Tony’s Team had the unfortunate honor of picking ninth overall. It is unclear whether it was luck or monk-level concentration, but Tony’s Team did well and is projected to finish first in Buffalowdown League with 1,397 points and a record of 11-3-0. They went after the diva position early, using three of their first five selections on WRs Demaryius Thomas (first round), Dez Bryant (second round), and Michael Crabtree (fifth round). These guys could be the key to the season for Tony’s Team, as they are the best group of WRs in the league. With a draft like that, you might as well make it official. Nominate yourself for the Toyota Hall Of Fame. Draft Notes • Stockpiling Talent at WR Tony’s Team should be in good shape with three position groups projected to be better-than-average. WR is definitely the strongest among them. • Up and Comers Assembling a squad of rising stars is key to fantasy success and Tony’s Team may have done just that, with four players estimated to top their prior-season numbers by a substantial amount. • Veteran Mentors on the Bench While the top half of the roster (from a projected points perspective) is relatively young (ranked No. 9 in the league with an average of 5 years of NFL experience), the bench is quite experienced (ranked No. 2 with 7 years). • Big D Tony’s Team elected to go with two DEFs instead of loading up at other spots. • You Snooze, You Lose While the rest of the league slept on Markus Wheaton, Tony’s Team pounced on him at pick No. 129. • Basic Math is Optional Michael Vick once claimed “I have two weapons; my arms, my legs and my brain.” With 482 projected rushing yards, Russell Wilson can channel his inner Vick to help Tony’s Team this year."
