Kevin Elliot did not have a good game, in fact he had a horrible game. This preseason has not treated Elliot well as he only has one reception in his previous two games and only had one target in this game. That one target came on a third and long in which Thad Lewis delivered a bullet to him and he was not able to make the grab which led to a Bills punt. That is when things went from bad to worse and by worse I mean losing your job bad. Brian Moorman booted the ball on a great coffin corner punt, the ball landed around the five yard line where it was fielded by Elliot. Unfortunately for Elliot and the rest of the team, Elliot had stepped out of bounds and although there were other coverage people around and also the ball was on a track out of bounds Elliot snatched up before either of those things could happen. This tacked on five yards from the spot of the foul. After the play Elliot was devastated and dropped into an almost standing fetal position.
