Stephon Gilmore had a rough season last year. Everyone seemed to pick on him because he had one hand.

If I were in his shoes, I’d be pretty ticked. It’s safe to say that Stephon Gilmore feels the same.

Even with his injured wrist, Gilmore has a lot to be thankful for as Leodis McKelvin stepped up big time last year as the #1 cornerback in his place. A year’s time has passed and Stephon Gilmore’s wrist should be good as new;  He comes back to a more experienced and talented secondary than the previous year. That’s everything a third year starter could ask for. Especially a starter eager to make an impact.

Stephon Gilmore is also playing with two of the best nickel corners in the league with Corey Graham and Nickell Robey. Add the new linebacking core to the mix and all of a sudden the Buffalo Bills may be able to stand a chance against their AFC East foes. Either way you look at it Stephon Gilmore has a chip on his shoulder; he’ll be ready to make a statement come week 1.
