We made it to the second Round of the 2014 Buffalowdown Facebook Mock Draft.  Here is a look at the players that were selected in the first half of the second round.

As always don’t forget to follow us on Facebook and also our Mock Draft Board.

"The Houston Texans start off the second round. We entertained a ton of offers overnight, but declined them all. We looked at quarterback, but with Fitz, Yates and Keenum I am waiting another round. With the 33rd pick in the Buffalowdown 2014 Mock NFL draft, the Houston Texans select: Anthony Barr, LB, UCLA.The Carr brothers are glaring at us from off stage, but we are overjoyed to see Barr still on the board at 33 and feel we have been able to select two of the best defensive players in this draft. Barr is this draft’s Geno Smith and will be part of the LB corps for years to come."

With the 34th Pick the Washington Redskins selected Deonne Bucannon Safety Washington State.

With the 35th pick the Cleveland Browns take wideout Davante Adams from Fresno State.

With the 36th pick the the Oakland Raiders: Timmy Jernigan, NT, Florida State.

With the 37th pick in the Buffalowdown mock draft the Atlanta Falcons select SS Jimmie Ward, Northern Illinois

"The Falcons are in need of a safety. Addressing the offensive line in the first round they move to the other side of the ball and address their next pressing need, a deep defender. Ward will be able to step in an play right away for the Falcons."

With the 37th pick the Buccaneers select:

"Although a Buccaneer is a very high price to pay for corn, these Tampa Bay Buccaneers find a great value with the 38th pick. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers select Xavier Su’a-Filo, OG, UCLA. With our QB selection in the first round, this is a step in protecting our investment."

With the 40th pick, the Minnesota Vikings select Zach Mettenberger, QB, LSU.

With the 41st pick, the Buffalo Bills select Scott Crichton, DE, Oregon State.

With the 42nd pick in the 2014 BLD mock draft, the Tennessee Titans select DE Stephon Tuitt from Notre Dame.

With the 43rd pick, the New York Giants select Kony Ealy, defensive end from Missouri.

"Ealy has the prototypical size to play end in Perry Fewell’s 4-3 defense. He recorded 14.5 TFL and 9.5 sacks last year, both of which were better totals than number one pick Jadeveon Clowney."

With the 44th pick the Saint Louis Rams select OT Morgan Moses from Virginia.

With the 45th pick the Detroit lions select Jace Amaro TE from Texas Tech.

With the 46th pick in the BLD mock draft the Pittsburgh Steelers take Dee Ford, DE Auburn

With the 47th pick the Dallas Cowboys trade their pick to the Buffalo Bills. The Buffalo Bills select Carlos Hyde, RB, Ohio State.

"Buffalo has some glaring needs besides RB. However, with Freddy and Spiller both on the last year of their contract and both having had injury issues, Buffalo couldn’t pass up Hyde. Hyde is a power house running back that brings good speed with great power. If the Bills sign Spiller to an extension, Spiller and Hyde would complement each other very well. Regardless, Hyde is an RB that can stay on the field at all times and wear down a defense. Buffalo relied on the run a lot last year and Hyde is the type of player they could use in the backfield."

With the 48th pick in the NFL draft the Baltimore Ravens select Kelvin Benjamin WR Florida State University.
