Austin Seferian-Jenkins a year ago was slated to be a top 15 pick. Now he has dropped to day two of the draft because of off field concerns as well as a fractured foot that has prevented him from participating in a multitude of off field workouts. These are the types of things that make prospects rise and drop on draft boards when the draft is not held in April. One thing that is not disputed is this kids talented, now the only question is will that talent translate to success at the next level? His pro comparisons are Dennis Pitta or Mercdes Lewis, S-J is imposing physically and can out body defenders down field. Detractors say that he doesn’t have the down field speed capabilities of an Ebron or Amaro, however that is not what the Buffalo Bills need right now. What they need is a player who will be consistent in catching the ball and has the ability to get open in the intermediate to deep area of the field which Seferian-Jenkins has.
